to the General Manager Operations the Training Director will develop a
nationalization plan. Assess the needs of large national
workforce and plan and design training policies and activities accordingly.
Manage external consultants hired for Learning and Development activities.
Plan, design, and supervise the construction of the training facilities.
Record training policies and procedures to meet company and government
abreast of new developments in training and incorporate into programs
changes to training programs /or change in focus.
problem areas arising from poor performance impacting on training.
specific plans for learners.
each trainee prior learning and competencies in terms of training schemes.
the most appropriate training institution by considering nature and
size of target population.
develop or modify the content and methodology of training programs in
line with needs identified.
and implement the delivery of training.
and evaluate presentations done by subordinates and take appropriate
standard training audit procedure
workshops and other group sessions using facilitation techniques.
pre course tests as appropriate to assess current knowledge levels.

Technical Qualifications in field of specialization.
years of technical training management experience.

experience in Africa and the mining industry would be preferable.

a different culture, religion and language.
